The program has been accredited three times by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), with the most recent accreditation awarded in 2022. This accreditation is valid for a period of three years, up to June 2024, affirming the program’s quality and standards

Eligibility Criteria

If you have an analytical mind, passionate about Science in general and machines in particular, if you are filled with curiosity to get deep into the how-and-why of the things you see around you, then, you have made the right choice.
Besides this, all Indian students applying for the B.E Mechanical Engineering program must fulfil the following requirements:
a) CET Quota Students:
- Must have passed the Second Year of Pre-university or 12th standard or equivalent, with English as one of the subjects.
- Must have secured an aggregate of at least 45% in Math and Physics, along with Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics/Biotechnology
- Must have cleared KCET
b) Management Quota Direct Admission students:
- Must have passed the Second Year of Pre-university or 12th standard or equivalent, with English as one of the subjects and obtained an aggregate of at least 60% in Math and Physics, along with Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics/Biotechnology
- Must have cleared any of the following entrance examinations: KCET, COMEDK, UGET, AMPCK, JEE
c) Students in the SC/ST and CAT1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B categories:
- Must have secured a minimum aggregate of 40% in the qualifying examination.
- Must have cleared any of the following entrance examinations: KCET, COMEDK, UGET, AMPCK, JEE
d) International/NRI students:
- Must have passed an exam equivalent to Second Year of Pre-university or 12th standard, with English as one of the subjects and obtained an aggregate of at least 60% in Math and Physics, along with Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics/Biotechnology
- Must clear the interview and written test that will be conducted by the College, as mandated by the university.

Admission Details

Admission Procedure:For Indian Students:

1. Undergraduate Engineering Programmes

Admission to Undergraduate Engineering programmes may be obtained through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) examination and selection process, or through the Management Admission process.

Eligibility Criteria: CET Admission Process

Student should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the languages, and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science. In case of SC/ST and OBC (Cat-1,2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category) students from Karnataka, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40%.
Student should have cleared the entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka – KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test)

Eligibility Criteria: Management Admission Process

Student should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the Languages, and obtained a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Bio- Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science.
Student should have cleared any one of the Entrance Tests conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka or Govt. of India (KCET, COMEDK, AMPCK, JEE)
- Karnataka Common Entrance Test
- Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Examination
- All India Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE)
- Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK)
