Actually the college infrastructure is very average until the previous year and now they are developing it they updated the classrooms digital boards blocks and all the facilities...for coming years they are even constructing hostels so for next batches we can consider a good infrastructure
Academics wise I feel they used every subject like in the other colleges and they offer same but the syllabus they teach in that particular subject is less compared to various colleges I saw So it's average in terms of teaching and syallabus
The placement are poor compared to the other colleges I feel many of them start early and bring more opportunities and interact one on one but as of now our college didn't start that and it's very low percentage of students getting placed total i guess 130 out of 900 placed..and highest is around 12lpa
The value for money is above average in the case of our batch but as the fees were increased now I don't feel they are worth it...and also the donation they take for management quota is completely unworthy
The staff will be interactive if we approach but I don't think they are skillful to help...and extra curricular activities are there but only just for name sake I feel apart from singing club ntng is valued or cared The location campus and emergencies handling is good
Totally it's an average experience and i prefer not admitting now because of the downfall of the college from past 2 years..they started development now so if in the next 2 years it gets better then we can think of it
The facilities, like separate blocks for different branches of students, AC class rooms, libraries, free Wi-Fi around the entire campus, etc., are there. The facilities available in the college hostel were also great, with a variety of food in the mess. Also in the canteen, the food was good
The teaching quality of the faculty was absolutely satisfactory for the students. They are well knowledgeable and highly effective in their course. The course curriculum of our course is very good to follow. The semester exams are not so difficult, but we have to prepare well.
From our course, almost 50 percent of the students got placed in the campus placements in various companies. The packages ranged from the highest at 6 lakhs to the lowest at 3 lakhs and the average at 3.5 lakhs. Companies like Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Infrastructure, etc.
Wi-Fi is non-existent in the college campus; yet another broken promise by the college management. The lab technicians act as rowdies and try to boss over the students; ostensibly in connivance with the Assistant Professors. Lab sessions are nothing more than a means for the lecturers to scold people for failing to wear a lab coat or not completing the lab record. Shame on such sensitive people!
A small minority of the teaching staff were cordial and helpful, the rest were all people of the lowest order. Teaching quality can at best be described as mediocre. A handful even resort to flirting with each other in plain view of the students. Seriously, people of loose character and corrupt morals. The course curriculum is outdated and unfit for the present-day world. The semester examinations are conducted by the college, ever since it became autonomous in 2021; hence I'm qualified to answer from personal experience
Placements are an absolute sham. The college deceives students of non-IT branches with false promises of attractive placements, and deludes them into taking. The college has tied up with a city-based company 'Suntek' to provide training once a week to the students, especially for software engineering and soft skills, by automatically levying a fee for it during the admission.
This college has very basic infrastructure. It has buildings in two rows, that's it. We don't have anything to see at all. The college is really small compared to other colleges in Hyderabad, and the hostel opened recently, about 2 years ago. As far as I know, the food and basic facilities are average.
Every teacher knows the basics of what they are teaching, but nothing extraordinary. This college doesn't make any students industry-ready. Some semester exams are difficult, and some are not. The pass percentage is like 60% of the class passes, and the remaining 40% don't.
We are having very less placement compared to past years and other colleges, and all the companies are software companies. No core for EEE, Mechanical, Civil, and Automobile students, and many companies have eligibility just for CSC and IT students. It's easier for them, but when it comes to placements for EEE, it doesn't have really good placements
For our time, we didn’t have any campus hostels, so we lived at private hostels. Hostel facilities are good except for the floor. Coming to the college hostels, they are good in all aspects, from food to Wi-Fi to sanitation. The only thing is, for girls especially, they should be in the hostel by 6 o'clock.
Faculty in the IT department is good compared to other branches. Our faculty is well-educated, and they make us do internships and other activities patiently. I personally like the way they encourage students. They help in doing projects and research, and they arrange many seminars for students' futures.
That is a disaster for the post-COVID batches. I can't even comment on that aspect, but the only thing that bothers me is that companies like Accenture, LTI, Mindtree, and Cognizant are hiring fewer numbers from our college compared to other colleges.
The infrastructure is good, but labs are average with no Wi-Fi for students. The library is good and has only limited books. Hostel conditions are horrible for me—bad food, rude warden, high fees which are Rs.38,000/- per semester, which is ridiculous, and only 3 bathrooms per floor, no generator, restricted Wi-Fi, and poor cleaning.
The faculty members are helpful, and well-qualified, and some hold PhDs. The course curriculum is relevant, up-to-date, and designed to make students industry-ready. Semester-end exams are fair—only if we study, we can pass, and others struggle.
In our course, nearly only 10% of students are getting on-campus placements. The highest package was maybe nearly 40LPA, and the lowest was around 3LPA. One of the top companies that was recruiting was TCS.
Hostels are available for both girls and boys, and the food is hygienic and of good quality. All facilities, including labs, classrooms, libraries, canteens, and medical facilities, are available for both girls and boys in the college.
The curriculum is regularly updated at the college, and the faculty is knowledgeable, qualified, and helpful. They clear up all our doubts about the subjects. Exams are easy, and passing marks are achievable, with 28 being the passing marks in all subjects.
Our college has good placement opportunities, with the highest package being 34 LPA and the lowest package being 5 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Tata, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro offer jobs to every student in the college.
The facilities and infrastructure provided by the campus, in and around, are just awesome. The college is enabled with Wi-Fi 24/7, and it provides us with the best library containing the best books for all the courses, which gives us extra knowledge according to practical life.
The teachers are quite helpful but need some more practice and experience. They are qualified, but they are unable to reach quality. There is a vice filled with fear, and there is less in it. The semester exams on campus are very difficult.
The placement percentage is 70 percent. The highest package is about 10 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is about 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Tata, Birla, and Sunshine.
My college has all the necessary equipment., infrastructure and facilities. All the facilities like laboratories, libraries, sport centres, hostels for boys, wifi, smart boards are provided. The living spaces are clean a d hygienic.
College academics are good and the faculty are experienced. Lab technicians are very well trained. But the experience of faculty is not much used by the college. The projects that students do are good but not much recognized.
Placements for mechanical department are not much in number. And the packages as well are low. Especially students of mechanical engineering and civil engineering and EEE department face problems with placements.
My fee was 95k per annum. That is not much worth but could have done more.
College experience was good. Made good friends for life.
College needs to improve in many departments and different areas of academics.
Yes MVSR college provide all the necessary facilities related to students. Laboratory and equipment are well equipped sports and culture events are well promoted throughout the entire study of the respective course
The academic was top notch the faculty members and the administration were phenomenal and up to their mark they outclass in every field of study it was such a blessing to be able to join this college and find such faculty team
The campus placements were good the college continuesly strives to bring good companies to College many of my friends i know were placed in a good companies and i was into manufacturing sector so i didn't engaged in campus placements
The value for money for this college is very good i was provided scholarship hence i was blessed to study in this prestigious college and the money management was very skillful planned for students like me
The campus life is very social and engaging during my studies here it was very lively and worthwhile throughout my 4 years in this college very culturally diverse and good environment with punch of enthusiasm in every students
Hi Hari, mvsr is a great college as fas as the ECE branch is considered. It has great infrastructure and eminent faculty. Most of them are doctorate or post graduates with high experience.
Talking of the placement, mvsr offers 100% placement records. Last year 16.5lpa was the highest package and Lowest was 2.4lpa. on average the package of ece is of 3.5-4lpa.
Coming to the idea of doing government job, you need to prepare for gate and IES which is irrespective of the college. Through that you may get recruited in top PSUs.
Hope this helps.
Dear Student,
It is a very good career option but the growth of the industry is little bit slower than other streams. Space researches, rocket building, cargo shipping, traveling aircraft, chopper services, drone services etc are the career option for this course. IITs are the best institute for this course but there are other good colleges too.
Thank You.
