Yes the infrastructure and faculty is good. There are many co-curricular activities and sports facilities. There is separate gym for girls and boys and good wifi in hostel. The mess food has many varieties and it tastes good.
Am currently persueing 2nd year Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and communication engineering. Quality of teaching is good and the curriculum is updated and there are other research centres inside campus.
Placement is good. Packages for computer science, information technology, and electronics and communication engineering is high. 33 lakhs is the highest placement offer for computer science. I am still a 2nd year student and i havent been placed yet.
good
good
No
All the spaces are hygienic and almost all modern amenities are present, but maintenance is not there. There are some shops and stationery is also readily available. The mess is really really bad. Like below par level of what is the expected level of a mess.
I am studying Computer engineering, they update the curriculum for only the 3rd and 4th year according to the industry requirements. The first 2 years are still studying very old stuff. Though it is a good thing for someone who has no idea of the basics (coding).
Mass recruitment in my department, rest of the departments had a decent percentage too. Nearly 97% in computer science and 99 % in Information technology. Though some really good companies like Amazon and all do come, they take only 1-2 students if they feel like it .
Would not recommend to someone coming from far up places, like anywhere from north India.
It's a decent campus, but it is too far away from the city or ANYWHERE.
College has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments which are well maintained. Classrooms are big and clean. Library has all the necessary textbooks. Food is hygenic. There are 2 football grounds and a basketball court.
The faculty is highly knowledgeable and they are always ready to explain any doubts or any concept which is unclear. The curriculum is such that it benefits the students in the current world. The quality of teaching is good.
Placements for The CS and IS branch is pretty good. The placements the other branches is fine. Placement training is given. There are many students who have been placed in top companies from both Cs and Is branches.
The college fees is 30000. It is worth the money. There is an additional transportation fee. The college has a very large bus network. There is a bus route for almost every place. There are almost more than 30 buses.
There many activities taking place all year round. There are many clubs which one can join. The annual college fest is Anaadyanta which is a 3 day event. There are fests organised by individual departments as well. There are many sports events as well.
nmit is a good engineering college and i would say that in terms of basic amenities this college provides all the facilities that a student would need like wifi ,clean mess, proper sanitization and hostels are also in good condition
faculty members are good and are well qualified in there fields the they are supportive and will help you if you will ask them but every place have some teachers who will rapify with the syllabus but overall all is good
placements in our college are good more than 85% students get placed easily especially CSE branch placement is good companies like microsoft visit our campus and provide packages around 18lakhs per annum last year
not exactly but the fees is decent if you will compare it with the other collages here it is almost same for all and with facilities they are providing will some or the other how justify your amount that you paid if you do well
campus life i would say is quite good it is a huge and good campus to roam and play around with your friends it will be great experience here within the campus with a good annual fest in which you will enjoy the most .
On the website, it is mentioned that classes have begun from 5th august itself. Verify the dates with the college authorities if you want clarifications.

Hy,
Choosing the right college for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) depends on various factors including faculty quality, infrastructure, placement opportunities, industry exposure, and student reviews. Let’s compare RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT), Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), and CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) based on these criteria:
Ultimately, the choice depends on your specific preferences and priorities. Visiting the campuses, talking to current students and alumni, and considering your own career goals can help make the best decision.
