Academics
Lectures are well-educated and qualified with a good amount of knowledge lectures include both experienced and freshers. The course curriculum is relevant. I think it makes sense and makes us industry-ready. So when it comes to semester exams for our branch, it will be closer to easier side between easier and average not too tough and the pass percentage is about 35% to 40%
College Infra
We have very good infrastructure without a civil department, having well-equipped labs and machinery. Hostel facility is good but not great and the quality of food in mess is good with many varieties and the canteen price is quite expensive. We have well-equipped medical assistance. NITTE is a very good supportive of sports and games
Placements
Almost 50%-75% of students got placed. The highest is 15 LPA to 20 LPA. The lowest is 3 LPA. The average is 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Ultratech, L&T, etc. Around 50% to 60% of our students from our course, got into companies like Ultratech and L&T. Top roles offered are construction engineer, project manager, and structure engineer.

Academics
Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They share emerging knowledge with the students, which is understandable and very effective. The course curriculum is relevant, but it goes away with some subjects that are not required. Semester exams are a bit difficult in order to maintain the respective pattern and level of exams. Pass percentage is about 30 to 35%.

Placements
About 75% of students got placed in our course. The highest package is 28 LPA. Average package is 13 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Top recruitment companies are Intel and Qualcomm. Around 60 to 75% of our students got internships at Qualcomm and Bosch India. Top roles include network engineer and VLSI design designer.

Academics
Teachers at NMIT are helpful and well-qualified. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant and industry-focused. Semester exams are moderately tough, with a pass percentage of around 85% to 90% for most of them.
College Infra
NMIT Bengaluru offers good lab facilities, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library for the ECE department. Hostels are clean with basic amenities, and the mess food is decent. Medical and sports facilities are also available on campus.
Placements
I was part of the 2023 ECE batch at NMIT Bengaluru, with around 78% of students placed. The average package is 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Bosch, TCS, and Capgemini. About 65% of students got internships in companies like L&T and HCL in core and software roles

Both the NMIT Bangalore and UPES Dehradun are best in class universities for BTech CSE but they have few differences:
- UPES is significantly costlier with total fees around INR 10,00,000 as compared to around INR 7,00,000 for NMIT excluding hostel charges for both colleges.

Both of the options are good at their own places for B.Tech, but there are few things that are worth mentioning to differentiate:
UPES:
- Offers multiple specializations that help avail a lot of in depth about the subject like AI, Data Science, Cyber security, graphics and gaming.
