As you've not mentioned your category, considering you as a general category student it's expected that you need to score above 615 marks in neet UG to get admission in PMCH Patna.

As per previous year records the cut off was 617

ELIGIBILITY - Candidates must passed or appearing class 12 in physics chemistry and biology with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized board.

is jnmc raipur good for mbbs or pmch patna which one have more activities

See when you are choosing any college for MBBS course then you should choose the one which will give you better clinical exposure and is active in case load generation as well as have well experienced faculties.

As per these parameter I would say JNMC Raipur will be better for MBBS than PMCH Patna as it will give you better exposure to clinical fields such as General Medicine, Pediatrics, Oncology are very strong in this college. So if you go for it then you can get better experience in these fields form JNMC rather than PMCH. And this are the rising fields in medical science which merits research and improvements in clinical methods.

how much marks i have to score to get admission in pmch patna in state quota

Hi

I am assuming you from general category

It's  difficult to make prediction  but when we go through previous year trends then

In neet 2019 , 617 marks for general category was the cut off marks/ lowest marks  that got an mbbs seat in Patna Medical College, Patna  under bihar state quota

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-bihar

But yes,

cut  off   marks / rank   for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

  • number of students that appeared in the neet examination,

  • kind of marks obtained by students  in neet ,

  • toughness level of the neet examination,

  • number of seats available etc.

So ,  in your Neet 2021 Examination to be on the safer side, so you should target at least 30 marks more in comparison of neet 2019 i. e , you should target at least around 650 marks .

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

  • go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

To help you in your preparation we have neet knockout, the link for the same is provided below :-

Thank you

After persuing MBBS from PMCH Patna , can Ido Masters from USA

Hi Nikhil!

Yes, you can pursue MD in the USA after completion of MBBS in India. For that you have to appear for United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).

There are 3 Steps in this exam which you have to clear and that cumulative mark will be considered for giving you the required stream in MD. The Exam consists of both theoretical and practical approach. The Step I of USMLE can be attended from India. But the next USMLE II CS and the Third Step must be attended in the USA!

Hope this is helpful!

All the best!

if I do mbbs from rama medical college kanpur then I do internship from pmch patna .it is paid stipend or unpaid because some of my friends say it is unpaid for externs. So,guys please clear my doubt

Hello Dear,

You will not be paid any stipend when you will do your externship in PMCH.

As per the rules specified by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and most medical colleges, it is possible to study in one medical college and apply for Internship in another but it is a long and complicated process. If you have completed your MBBS from Rama Medical College Kanpur, if you complete your internship there itself as you are familiar with the faculty, system and also entitled for a monthly stipend as per the rules. But if you wish to pursue internship from Patna Medical College and Hospital. This will require you to obtain No Objection Certificates from Rama Medical College, Patna Medical College and the MCI. You will of course have to fulfill the 'externship' eligibility criteria and requirements of PMCH and make it to the merit list to be selected. You may also have to pay a fee to PMCH for your training as specified and will not be paid any stipend when you do externship there.

Hope this helps!

Good Luck

Patna Medical College and Hospital was established in 1925 and originally known as Prince of Wales Medical College, is a medical college located in Patna. BSc in Medical Imaging Technology program is suitable for students seeking to expand their horizons and pursue a career field related to medical research & development or technological research in companies that lead to a breakthrough in diagnostic imaging.  It offers internships for medical students but I am not sure about the BSc students.

Good Luck

what was the cut off in Patna medical College in round 2 2020 neet UG

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general.

Till now the competent authorities have not released the cut-offs publicly and it is candidate specific so at this point of time it's quite difficult to help you with and accurate cut-off marks or rank for Patna Medical College, Patna but yes we can help you through previous year's cut-off marks and rank so that you can get an idea for this year. So as we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the lowest cut-off marks and closing rank was 617 & 4552 respectively for Patna Medical College, Patna under state quota for General category. And this year the cut-offs are expected to be increased by around 15-20 marks so if a candidate has score of around 650 then he/she can easily get Patna Medical College, Patna under state quota counselling.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-bihar

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

which one is better for mbbs aiims gorakhpur or pmch patna ?

AIIMS Gorakhpur and Patna Medical College and Hospital both are leading government Medical colleges of India. But AIIMS Gorakhpur is quite a very new college while Patna Medical College and Hospital is one of the oldest medical colleges of India. It has been ranked at 37th position by NIRF among the top Medical colleges of India. But AIIMS Gorakhpur has not received any remarkable ranking yet. Being one of the oldest colleges, Patna Medical College has experienced faculties. Being a government Hospital, the patient load is heavy and the students get enough exposure. So considering all the points, it would be better to join Patna Medical college and Hospital. You can also read the student reviews to think which one to select http://www.careers360.com/colleges/patna-medical-college-patna

which one shuold i opt for between patna medical college and aiims raipur??

Hello candidate!
Since the both of the colleges are good where they provide MBBS course.both of the colleges are prestigious and have a good academic and both have a good hostel facilities.the professor of both of the colleges are friendly but I suggest you to choose Patna medical college because of the following reasons.

1.better academics

2.high PG selection

3.daily patients load is very high

4.rule and regulation quite better regarding hostel

The most and foremost thing that I am recommending this here for you to take Patna medical college because of the daily patient dose as it is highly very very need to have a lots of patients for your practical basis in medical knowledge so for this reason I am suggesting you to go for Patna medical college but still you can think better because I only can guide you and you have to take your steps keeping in mind all about studies all about your career and all about your medical education and hope this will guide you to the best.
Choose wisely!
Regards!
