B.Tech Information Technology - Batch of 2026-01-01
Academics
All Teachers were knowledgeable and they were good with the explanation of the topics. Semesters were easy enough if we followed the faculty and assignments. The course curriculum was designed to obtain all the qualities required while in the engineering and it helps by providing both technical knowledge and general too.
College Infra
In my college Wi-Fi was good almost everywhere on the campus. The labs were good with new equipment. Coming to the hostel, the food was average but compared to home, it was not up to the level. We have a dispensary in the college itself and an available nurse and we have a mineral water supply around the campus and a small solar plant in the main block.
Placements
More than 70% students are placed and the highest package was 40 LPA the average package was about 5 LPA. Top recruiting company was Autodesk. Internship recruiters were Accenture and Amazon with a good stipend. This year we had around 900 offers come to the students and they were still going on.

Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms and common areas available. The mess serves a variety of nutritious meals, although the options could be more diverse. The canteen offers snacks and beverages at reasonable prices. Medical facilities on-campus ensure prompt care, and there are good sports amenities encouraging a balanced lifestyle with various games and activities available for the students.
Placements
Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, and TCS which frequently hire from our campus. Approximately 60% of the students received internships with notable companies like Accenture and Tech Mahindra offering valuable experience. Common roles offered included software developer, data analyst, and systems engineer providing a strong foundation for our careers. Overall, the placement opportunities were quite encouraging.

Hey I got 63320 rank in eapcet in 2025 can I get seat in ece in pragati engineering College
Hi dear candidate,
Considering the previous year trends where the cut off for B.Tech ECE in 2023 was closed at 44,300 and in year 2024, it was closed at 42,100. If this trend continues this year also then, your chances in Pragati College are quite slim. But, you should try at least till last round of seat allocation as the ECE branch is very competitive.

Hey there,In 2024 the cutoff for bcb category in Pragati college for CSE was 76042.So the cutoff might be around this range this year also.

With your 69,251 rank in AP EAMCET and being from the BC-B category and a girl, getting a seat in CSE at Pragati Engineering College, Surampalem might be difficult. Usually, the closing rank for CSE in this college is much lower than your rank. But don’t feel bad—there’s still a good chance for you to get other branches like Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering in the same college.
You should definitely try in the counselling because sometimes seats become available in the later rounds. Also, since you have both BC-B reservation and girl quota, your chances in some branches may improve.
