PDIT Hospet Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Proudadevaraya Institute of Technology, Hospet offers 5 undergraduate-level engineering courses, 3 basic science undergraduate courses, and 2 postgraduate courses. Entry to these courses is possible only after passing the entrance examination like KCET or COMED-K. Some seats are for management quota as well. Admission to these courses is based on the cut-offs released by the institute. It is obvious that cut-offs will not be the same for all courses, as computer engineering can have a high cutoff as compared to other branches because of its high demand in the market. 

• Candidates who have passed the entrance exam will be allocated seats on the base of their preference and cut-off.

• Then they need to approach the college admission section. 

• After that, they need to fill out the application form. 

• All the necessary documents should be submitted by the candidates.

• After paying the admission fee candidates can finally enrol in the course. 

Proudadevaraya Institute of Technology, Hospet offers BE/B.Tech and BSc life science as part of their undergraduate courses. The duration of these courses is 4 and 3 years respectively. 

PDIT UG Eligibility Criteria

PDIT B.Tech/BSc Admission Procedure

• Candidates should clear the COMED-K cutoff(for B.Tech) and CET cutoff(for BSc).

• They will be provided with a seat based on the marks scored in the entrance examination.

• Selected candidates should submit the required documents at college.

• By paying the course fees, candidates can finalise their admission. 

Proudadevaraya Institute of Technology, Hospet offers an MBA and M.Tech in Digital Communication and Networking as part of their postgraduate courses. Both the courses are of 2 years duration.

PDIT PG Eligibility Criteria

Note: In the case of SC/ST/OBC and other reservations cutoff will be 5% less than that of the general category.

PDIT MBA/M. Tech Admission Procedure

• Candidates need to clear the Karnataka-PGCET entrance exam.

• After clearing the entrance exam, seats will be allocated based on the marks scored and cutoff.

• A list of selected candidates with respective courses will be released by the college.

• Candidates need to provide documents at the college for validation.

• By paying course fees, candidates can finalise their admission.

Proudadevaraya Institute of Technology, Hospet offers MBA seats in the government and management quota. 50% of seats are allotted through the KEA Government and the remaining 50% are management seats. PDIT has 60 MBA seats, 30 are KEA govt seats and 30 are management seats. 2 seats are for the PH category, 20 for HK, and 8 for RK.
