The hostel has a total of 40 rooms with a capacity of 120 students for both boys' and girls' hostels. Each room is well-furnished with beds, tables, chairs, and cupboards. Water coolers, water purifiers, and water heaters are also available. The hostels have 24/7 security guards and CCTV surveillance. Newspapers are also delivered daily to improve the students' knowledge.

The college has a Girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
- Library
RC Technical Institute library has approximately 24,000 books, 31 periodicals and journals, and 3 newspapers (The Times of India, Gujarat Samachar and Divya Bhaskar). The goal of the library is to assist students in how to access and using library resources.
- Cafeteria
RC Technical Institute canteen has a well-furnished and modern cafeteria. It boasts a modern kitchen with the latest appliances to ensure the quality of the food prepared is up to the mark. The timings of the canteen are 9:00 am to 6:30 pm. The cafeteria has 10 tables with a seating capacity of 60 people. It also has a water cooler and freezer facilities. The food is available at affordable rates, and the cafeteria is fully Wi-Fi connected.

The R.C. Technical Institute was founded by Rao Bahadoor Ranchhodlal Chhotalal in 1910 at Saraspur, Ahmedabad. The institute has diploma courses in Mechanical, Electrical, Textile Manufacturing, Textile Processing, Printing technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT Engineering & Civil. It does not have a diploma in Architecture and assistantship. All these course programs are for three years and the course fee is INR 3,000. The total seat intake is 30.
Four programs of this Institute have NBA accreditation.

Hello,
The placement opportunities in RC Technical Institute for the students of Computer Engineering are quite less. There are placements mostly for the Electrical students as known from surveys. From the Computer Engineering Department, only 8 students were placed in 2018-2019. Private institutions provide more placement opportunities nowadays.
