Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by RMK Engineering College, Thiruvallur recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed the twelfth standard of Tamil Nadu H.S.C. (Academic) or an equivalent examination recognised by Anna University with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The Candidate should have passed the Diploma Examination in Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or an equivalent examination for direct admission to second year (Lateral Entry).

The number of appearances, minimum marks and other criteria for admissions to B.E / B.Tech courses is as per AICTE and State government norms.

Yes, my college provides excellent infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms featuring smart tv, internet connection, fans only no AC in classrooms, a vast library, advanced labs, modern sports facilities, and clean, hygienic hostels with nutritious food.

Good academic structure with UpToDate technologies .

College Infrastructure

RMK has good infrastructure with lab facilities for each department. We have a spacious auditorium which can fit in up to 1000 students. We have a great mess facility provided with breakfast, lunch and tea at the break too.

College Infrastructure

The college building is well maintained and has all basic facilities for students in the classroom . The academics here are very nice . The laboratories are well-equipped with the latest equipment and technology, which is essential for conducting experiments and practical work.
