See COMEDK and UPES both are the different things because COMEDK is an entrance exam and UPES is an Institute. COMEDK stands for Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka, this test is taken to determine the eligibility of candidates for admission to around 190 engineering colleges of Karnataka for various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. On the other hand UPES stands for University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, it is an university located in Dehradun and it conduct it's own entrance exam for different scholarships and for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

UPES Dehradun is mostly famous for chemical and Petroleum courses. For CSE you may select from Manipal jaipur or JECRC jaipur. Both of the college does not vary much but still Manipal has a higher priority due to better facilities , course curriculum and placements than JECRC.

The undergraduate course BBA Aviation is merit based and followed by an interview . The minimum eligibility is 12th with minimum 50% aggregate . The course fee is about INR 70,00 to INR 4,00,000 annually . The average salary /placements  is 4-8 lakhs per annum .

Dear student, Isat means intelligence and ability test office student for international education setup. This test is conducted by Australian educational research committee. You have got 21.38 percentile. Your result in 12th standard is 80% and above.. so so there is a chance to get admission in Dehradun University for a purpose that isUPES for BA LLB course.

UPES and SRM are a good comparison, but you cant clearly say that one is definitely better than the other. Its rather a close call.

Why SRM :

SRM have a better crowd and living atmosphere, better college life, more exposure and better teaching as compared to UPES. Another plus point for SRM would be much superior Infrastructure, especially in terms of the computer science department. Also, I guess they have a better fee structure lesser expenses.

Why UPES :

Here they definitely have a good placement record. There are lots and lots of companies that come for CS students’ recruitment. CS students usually leave after the degree with happy faces. So much so for getting your first job (i’m not too positive on the packages per-annum provided ). But that’s not a deal breaker.

I will suggest you to go for UPES, If u would have asked for cse or it departments, i would have surely suggested SRM. Bt for mechanical, civil or electrical engineering don't even think about srm. Faculty is not that good and bad placement.There is only one benefit in srm that is, even if u r an average student, u’ll surely graduate with 8-8.5 + cgpa. But i don't think cgpa matters more for a core branch. If u are giving ur four valueable years and are investing 12 lacs+ rupees and getting good cgpa, u will atleast expect a job with good package.

So my suggestion is to opt upes over srm.
