The minimum eligibility to apply for UPES is have 50% marks in class 10 and 10+2 along with 50% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects respectively.
Candidates have to qualify in UPESMET for admission in MBA courses , but also CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT/GMAT scores are accepted.

For admission in B.tech course you will have to appear in University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT).

If you took 1-2 year drop then that will be okay to get an admission. If you want to get an admission directly then you have to go through management quota. Fee structure will be higher but yes you can take admission provided that institute provides it.

Based on 12th board merit, you can't get admission. There are only few colleges which consider 12th marks to get an admission.

But you have to take entrance if you want  to join through counselling and follow the required process until admission.

there are two ways. You choose which one will be good for you.

Undoubtedly Thapar University is best among them. Thapar is an old and very trustworthy college to take admission into. Thapar has got very good placement records as compared to vit and upes. But Cutoff for Thapar is high.

Your question is incomplete. You need to mention your category to know about the cutoff for UPES School of Engineering.in UPESAT. Reservation candidates have different cutoffs vary from year to year. So prepare well for exam and set your target high. Don't study by keeping the cutoff in mind. You aim should be to crack the exam with good rank.

firstly for having admission in UPES for BBA you need to score at least 50% in your class 12th and 10th also.
UPES conduct annual GD/PI, you will have to register for it on their official website, and it depends on your rank whether you will get seat or not.
apart from this admission in UPES for BBA can also be done on the basis of management criteria.
