It would depend on which college of Indraprastha University you are talking about. If you compare top colleges under IP University like VIPS or USSLS then IP is definitely better than UPES as it has a great locational advantage. You will have better internship opportunities in IP University

The infrastructure of the university of petroleum and energy studies is very beautiful. It is located between the mountains and the scene is very peaceful and happy everyday. Lab are pretty decent and well equipped.
