AIMT Ambala Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Recognised as the oldest member of the education fraternity, the Shri Atmanand Jain Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT) at Ambala has been grooming minds. It is located centrally in Ambala City, Haryana, where it has made a niche for itself in the area of management and technology education. 

AIMT Ambala has both NAAC accreditation and AICTE approval while offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Application forms will be for MAT undertake MBA admission. The MAT occurs on several occasions in a given year, with application forms usually closing by the 1st of March for the February session. Consequently, relevant MAT scores will be sent to the candidates, who will then register and participate in online off-campus counseling organised by HSTES, Panchkula.

For MCA, OLET -MCA shall serve as the entry test for successful admission. The process will then continue through counseling. AIMT Ambala admissions into the undergraduate courses (BBA and BCA) shall consider the merit predetermined by the applicants according to the directives set down by Kurukshetra University.  The time schedules of these admissions are typically strict, adhering to the academic calendar of Kurukshetra University. Application procedure to AIMT, Ambala, differs with different programmes:

AIMT Ambala Application Process For MBA

• Attempt the Management Aptitude Test (MAT).
• Register for the "Online Off-Campus Counselling" conducted by HSTES, Govt. of Haryana.
• Look out for dates announced by HSTES and attend counseling.
• Obtain a seat allocated to you and verify documents with AIMT Ambala and fulfill all other AIMT Ambala admission formalities. 

AIMT Ambala Application Process For MCA

• Attempt the OLET-MCA entrance examination.
• Apply for the online off-campus counseling conducted by HSTES. 3. Attend the process of counseling.
• If selected, go on with the process of AIMT Ambala admission.

AIMT Ambala Application Process For BBA and BCA

• Clear the prescriptive eligibility criteria set by Kurukshetra University.
• Write to AIMT Ambala directly or as per procedure prescribed by Kurukshetra University.
• Merit list based on performance in qualifying examination.
• Informed candidates visit to complete AIMT Ambala admissions process at the institute.

AIMT Ambala offers BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA admissions based on merit in qualifying exams and university-level counseling.

AIMT Ambala BCA Admission Process

The total number of seats approved for the BCA programme at AIMT Ambala is 90. The admissions to the BCA course will be on a merit basis in accordance with the procedure and instructions of Kurukshetra University (KUK). The university lays down minimum eligibility; on that basis, candidates fulfilling those criteria will be considered for merit-based admission.

AIMT Ambala MBA Admission Process

60 seats are allocated to the MBA programme of AIMT Ambala. Entry to MBA is granted on the basis of MAT (Management Aptitude Test). Candidates qualifying the MAT are to take admission at the "Online Off-Campus Counseling" conducted at HSTES, Government of Haryana. Selection is done through this counseling base on the candidate's MAT score and other related factors.

AIMT Ambala BBA Admission Process

Sitting at 60, the BBA programme has an intake of around 60 students. Just like BCA, admissions to BBA are also secured entirely on the basis of merit and strictly follow the procedures and guidelines of Kurukshetra University. Merit for selection will be determined only from the candidate's performance in his or her qualifying examination.

AIMT Ambala MCA Admission Process

For MCA, AIMT Ambala has 30 seats. MCA admission criteria is on the rank obtained in the OLET-MCA entrance examination. Candidates must qualify for the OLET-MCA examination and take part in the Online Off-Campus Counseling by HSTES. On this basis, recommendations for admission will be made based on performance on the OLET-MCA examination and online Off-campus counseling.

AIMT Ambala Required Documents

• Mark sheets of qualifying examinations (secondary, plus two, and graduation as applicable)
• Entrance exam score card (in the case of MBA and MCA)
• Proof of birthdate
• Character certificate
• Migration certificate (if, applicable)
• Category certificate (if applying under any reserved category)
• Any other documents as demanded by the institute or university.
