Shri Shivaji Education Society's College of Engineering and Technology, Yavatmal Admission Process

Shri Shivaji Education Society's College of Engineering and Technology, Yavatmal (SSCET) is a famed institution, offering many engineering and architectural courses. The admission process at SSCET has parameters suited to merit-worthy selection of candidates at the National and State levels under various entrance examinations. The full-fledged admission process is usually activated with the official announcement of the entrance exam dates. For engineering programs, scores of JEE Main and Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) are accepted by SSCET. An architect aspirant can apply through the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). Admission to postgraduate programs is considered according to the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score.

Minimum academic qualification for admission to all undergraduate engineering courses is passing the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics taken as subjects. B.Arch applicants must appear for NATA or JEE Main Paper 2. For postgraduate studies, the applicant must have a Bachelor's degree relevant to Engineering or Technology. Important dates for the admissions will be in conjunction with the exam schedule mentioned for each entrance examination. JEE Main is generally conducted during January and April, MHT CET during April and May, NATA during June and July, GATE in February. Candidates should cross-check with the official websites of the respective examination and SSCET for confirmation of application deadlines and exam dates.
