Sinhgad Academy of Engineering, Kondhwa Fees 2027

am currently studying engineering in the computer science field, and the academic environment is quite supportive. Most faculty members are knowledgeable, helpful, and explain concepts clearly. The curriculum includes both theoretical and practical learning, which helps students improve their technical skills. Teachers also encourage participation in seminars, coding competitions, and project-based learning. The syllabus is updated according to recent industry trends like AI, machine learning, and software development. Regular assignments, practical sessions, and internal exams help students stay consistent in studies and become more job-ready.

The college infrastructure is good and provides most of the facilities required for students. Classrooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with projectors and smart boards in some departments. The computer labs have decent systems with internet connectivity for practical work and projects. The library has a good collection of academic books, journals, and digital resources for students. Students who maintain good academic performance and technical skills get better placement opportunities. The average package offered is satisfactory for freshers, and some students also receive higher packages through off-campus opportunities. Overall, the placement process is smooth and the college provides good support to students.

The academics at Sinhgad Academy of Engineering, Kondhwa are affiliated with SPPU, ensuring a well-structured and relevant course curriculum. While the first-year faculty is a bit mixed, the professors in the core departments like Computer and IT from the second year onwards are well-qualified and helpful. The college stands out due to its mandatory Student Training Program (STP), which prepares students right from the early years for group discussions, technical skills, and placement interviews. The laboratories are properly maintained for practical sessions, and overall, it provides a solid technical foundation for engineering students.

The campus features well-ventilated classrooms, many of which are equipped with overhead projectors and standard teaching aids to support daily lectures. The departmental laboratories are adequately stocked with essential experimental setups, computer terminals, and testing kits required for university practicals, though some software and hardware systems benefit from periodic updates. A spacious central library houses an extensive collection of reference books, academic journals, and digital resources, offering a quiet environment for self-study and research. Campus-wide Wi-Fi connectivity is available, though the speed and reliability can fluctuate during peak hours. The hostel facilities provide standard living spaces with essential amenities like study tables, beds, and water heaters. While the rooms are regularly cleaned, the quality and variety of food served in the mess and campus canteens are average, occasionally leaving room for improvement in taste and hygiene. For extracurricular development, the college offers decent sports infrastructure, including playgrounds and indoor sports spaces, which are actively utilized during the annual cultural and sports festivals.

Placements at Sinhgad Academy of Engineering are decent, especially for Computer Engineering and IT branches. Around 70-80% of eligible students get placed every year through the centralized campus placement cell. Top mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, and TCS frequently visit the campus. The highest package offered generally goes up to INR 18-20 LPA for tech roles, while the average package hovers around INR 4 LPA. The overall training and placement cell is very supportive and conducts useful mock drives, though competition remains tough because students from all Sinhgad campuses participate together.

Some teachers were good and some teachers were bad at teaching, there was no practical application in teaching even though our course was mostly supposed to be practical, they taught us only theory, they just opened the ppts and read that.

So I went to this college during covid so didn't experience the full extent of the extent of the infrastructure available in my college. I know that in my college there is no sports ground, there was one but it was very small.

So there were placements in other branches but not very much. In our branch civil engineering there is no placements and both the college and students were responsible and covid was mostly responsible.
