• Candidates must fulfil the SJBIT admission eligibility criteria before applying for admission.

• Candidates must fulfil the SJBIT admission eligibility criteria to apply for admissions.

• Appear for Visvesvaraya Technological University Eligibility Test for Research (VTU-ETR).

• UGC-NET(including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/CAT/having M.Phil degree/full-time (special) candidates/faculty members selected under QIP/FIP are exempted from the entrance test.

• A merit list is prepared and shortlisted candidates have to appear for an interview.

• A consolidated merit list will be prepared based on the scores of the interview (70% weightage) and the qualifying examination (30% weightage).

• After seat allotment, candidates must visit the institute, get their documents verified and confirm their SJBIT admission.
