SJBIT Bangalore BE Admission Process 

• Candidates must fulfil the SJBIT admission eligibility criteria before applying for admission.

• Candidates are required to fill out the SJBIT admission form.

• Afterwards, candidates must take the entrance exam KCET/ COMEDK and wait for the declaration of the result and cutoff.

• Candidates qualifying for the cutoff should apply for counselling and fill in their choice of college and course.

• Seats are allotted based on the merit of rank, choice filled, availability of seats and participation in the counselling.

SJBIT Admission Process for M.Tech/ MCA

• Candidates must fulfil the SJBIT admission eligibility criteria.

• Candidates are required to fill out the SJBIT admission form.

• Take the Karnataka PGCET and wait for the results and announcement of the cutoff.

• Shortlisted candidates based on the ranks of the entrance test are called for Karnataka PGCET counselling, conducted by KEA.

• Seats will be allotted on the basis of the merit ranks of the candidates in Karnataka PGCET and the preferences of the candidates.

• SJBIT admissions are confirmed after the document verification and payment of the SJB Institute of Technology fees for the course.

SJBIT MBA Admission Process

• Before applying for SJBIT admissions, students must satisfy the eligibility criteria. 

• Eligible students must fill out the SJBIT admission form. 

• SJBIT admissions are based on Karnataka PGCET/KMAT exam scores.

• Applicants who clear the SJBIT cutoff have to register and appear for Karnataka PGCET/ KMAT counselling and select SJBIT Bangalore.

SJBIT admissions are offered to 10 PhD courses in disciplines like Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, and Mechanical Engineering. SJBIT admissions to the PhD courses are available for full-time 3 years and part-time 5 years.

SJBIT PhD Admission Process

• Candidates must fulfil the SJBIT admission eligibility criteria to apply for admission.

• Appear for Visvesvaraya Technological University Eligibility Test for Research (VTU-ETR).

• UGC-NET(including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/CAT/having M.Phil degree/full-time (special) candidates/faculty members selected under QIP/FIP are exempted from the entrance test.

• A merit list is prepared, and the shortlisted candidates have to appear for an interview.

• A consolidated merit list will be prepared based on the scores of the interview (70% weightage) and the qualifying examination (30% weightage).

• After seat allotment, candidates must visit the institute, get their documents verified and confirm their SJBIT admission.
