Synergy Institute of Engineering and Technology, Dhenkanal Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college provides a hostel facility for first-year boys' students. The name of the boys' hostel is Kohinoor Boys Hostel, which is located 2km from the campus. The total accommodation capacity of the hostel is 187 students. For senior students, the hostel also has Kailash Boys’ Hostel with a total capacity of 250 students. The rooms are spacious and can accommodate up to 3 students in a single room. The rooms have attached bathrooms.

The college also has Shantiniketan Girls’ Hostel with a total accommodation of 289 students. The rooms have all the necessary facilities, and three people can be accommodated in a single room. 

The college has a medical room with basic first aid and healthcare facilities. The medical room has a trained doctor and nursing staff to provide immediate first aid to the students when required.

The college has three well-equipped gymnasiums for both girls and boys in three hostels. The gymnasium offers a wide range of equipment such as Bench Press, Cable Cross Over, Preacher, Leg Press, AB Crunch, Dumbbells, and Rubber Plates. Yoga and sports events are also regularly organised at SIET Dhenkanal.

The college Central Library of the institute was renamed as Keshab Central Library on 02 January 2026, in honor of and in the name of Keshab Chandra Mishra. The library serves as the academic knowledge center of the institution, supporting teaching, learning, and research activities. It is fully automated using the KOHA Integrated Library Management System and maintains an Institutional Repository through DSpace for preserving E-resources content.

The college also offers excellent sports facilities. Apart from regular sports events, the institute also encourages students to maintain their physical fitness through regular health guidance and yoga workshops.

The college also has good IT Infrastructure with 7 computer laboratories. A total of 220 students can work simultaneously. The desktops have 100 Mbps connectivity to assist in their academic projects and assignments.

The college cafeteria offers affordable, nutritious, and hygienically prepared meals. The cafeteria is available for both students and staff.

The college has state-of-the-art auditorium facilities that organise various workshops, seminars, and events. It has a good seating capacity to accommodate students and air-conditioning, combined with proper ventilation.
