BE Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027-01-01
      3.6

      Academics

I'm studying mechanical engineering because I have a keen interest in machines and in learning how they work, TCET follows the MU portion so the things you study are pretty good and necessary in applications. Also of a person wants a college where attendance is less of an issue and wants a chill college, he/she can definitely opt for tcet

      College Infra

The college has a well equipped garage in the college, it also has high performance pcs for designing The classrooms are designed well with smart boards and AC'S , PROJECTORS. The living spaces are moderate tho canteen is not at all good but there are many restaurants and cafes near the college

      Campus Life

The campus life is pretty average theres nothing much to do you can just sit and talk with friends eat something It doesn't have anything in specific to get engaged in Students do play badminton And also there's a games room where the students can play but it's often too crowded or closed

      Placements

The placements here are pretty average for mechanical students but there are good companies that come but the placements are better in ai and cs departments, the average salary offered would be around 5-6 LPA which is pretty low

      Value For Money

The course cost is nearly 1.8L which is almost similar to djs but djs offers way better facilities than Tcet I feel it's the course worth rest the college doesn't put in extra efforts for the students

Good infra, decent placements, pricey, fun campus.

ME Computer Engineering - Batch of 2027-01-01
      4.4

      Academics

The curriculum is decent and autonomous, giving flexibility. However, the college leans heavily on lectures over hands-on project work , which can feel limiting for students who want real-world exposure.

      College Infra

TCET's infrastructure is genuinely impressive — AC classrooms, smart boards, a beautiful auditorium, TATA and INTEL service labs, and a well-stocked digital library make it feel more like a campus than a college.

      Campus Life

Multiple fests every semester, active clubs, and a vibrant student community make college life enjoyable. The canteen gets overcrowded during breaks though — a real pain point students often mention.

      Placements

In the 2025 batch, 391 students were placed with a highest package of 20 LPA from J.P. Morgan and 100+ companies visiting campus solid for Mumbai. But placement strength is heavily branch-dependent — IT, CS, AIML shine; Civil and Mechanical students struggle.

      Value For Money

Fees range from ₹3.3L to ₹5.9L per year , which is on the higher side. Scholarship options exist for reserved categories, but for open-category students, the ROI depends entirely on your branch and effort.

I don't like the faculty members who are there some are polite and kind rest of them are rude they don't understand students problem sometimes and instead of helping students they laugh on them or shout on them

      College Infra

Always occupied for shooting dont even have proper class and lab is also not good need more space in lab and upgraded tools for students in lab need proper table to sit overall I not like it my experience is not good wishes is also not properly clean it stings sometime

      Campus Life

Clg campus is okay okay location is also good only they are not safety for women common room even teacher won't allow us to go alone in women common room which is little suspicious overall thik hi hain also they don't even have medicine for emergencies

      Placements

I don't know about placements yet because its still remaining I haven't competition graduation yet its my last year so will see about placement but am not really expecting from this clg as par many of my friends got placements some are happy but some didn't got good package

      Value For Money

They ask 20 rupees from us just for exam form itna fees hum kis liye bhar rahe hain harr Saal 50 hazar haar chizon ko liye clg ko paise chaiye kuch bhi free me nahi hota aur uppar se clg me jo xerox wala hain wo bhi kaafi charge karta hain even he is rude internship bhi paid hi aayi thi pehle paise bharo fhir sikho kya hi Matlab huaa
