Always occupied for shooting dont even have proper class and lab is also not good need more space in lab and upgraded tools for students in lab need proper table to sit overall I not like it my experience is not good wishes is also not properly clean it stings sometime
I don't like the faculty members who are there some are polite and kind rest of them are rude they don't understand students problem sometimes and instead of helping students they laugh on them or shout on them
I don't know about placements yet because its still remaining I haven't competition graduation yet its my last year so will see about placement but am not really expecting from this clg as par many of my friends got placements some are happy but some didn't got good package
They ask 20 rupees from us just for exam form itna fees hum kis liye bhar rahe hain harr Saal 50 hazar haar chizon ko liye clg ko paise chaiye kuch bhi free me nahi hota aur uppar se clg me jo xerox wala hain wo bhi kaafi charge karta hain even he is rude internship bhi paid hi aayi thi pehle paise bharo fhir sikho kya hi Matlab huaa
Clg campus is okay okay location is also good only they are not safety for women common room even teacher won't allow us to go alone in women common room which is little suspicious overall thik hi hain also they don't even have medicine for emergencies
No Thankyou
The infrastructure is really good. The classrooms are equipped with durable furniture and up to date technology. Washroom infrastructure is a little weak and can be improved. Labs have a range of computers which can be easily operated.
The course is very interesting but can be very repetitive at times. The teachers are very helpful and guide you through every step. Library is equipped with numerous book for reference and studying purposes.
Since this is the first batch of BBA, placements remain a question yet to answer. However, for other courses, the college has provided placements in big firms like Aditya Birla Group, Tata, Mahindra, JP morgan
Definitely value for money considering the BBA rates in Mumbai. The college charges a decent fee and provides the best possible infrastructure. The teachers are really knowledgeable and helpful and the study material provided is mostly good, sometimes can be a bit confusing to navigate and understand.
Campus life is a little dicey. While amenities are in place, the canteen security remains a bit questionable due to due harassment cases taking place (which the college handled very appropriately after being introduced to). The canteen has decent amount of food options, games like pool, table tennis and carrom are available. Buildings are easy to navigate and it's easy to find spots to just sit and eat or hangout in.
The college is a really nice college and provides the same amenities and opportunities as the established ones.
This college has very good infrastructure. All amenities and facilities are amazing. We have a huge campus including top notch labs for all experiments in fields like electrical engineering IT engineering and Mechanical. It also had a huge ground nearby itself with hostel near to the campus. The entire college was very hygienic and had all sort of facilities.
I have studied B.E. in IT engineering from thakur College of engineering and technology. The quality of teaching was amazing. There was all sort of practical application to all the theoretical knowledge we gained during the lectures. And yes, the curriculum was updated and included all recent developments, like artificial intelligence and machine learning. This made me completely ready for my job.
The quality of placements was pretty good companies from all over the country came for different fields around 90 to 95% of the batch was placed. The placement process was very easy and the College was very supportive.
Overall the college infrastructure is great just the chair and tables provided in the class can be upgraded. Their is no wifi present in the classroom and their is no sports centre present in the college.
Overall the quality of teaching is above the average. Teachers just teach what is their in the syllabus. Yes overall the curriculum is updated and yes it includes all the recent developments in the field.
Average lies between 5-6 lpa. The quality of placements is average. I feel that the average package can be increased around 7-8 lpa. Around 70-80% of students got placed and the highest salary offered was around 40 lpa on campus.
College is by far value for money. The college fees is around 1.6 lacs per year. Ya I feel my money is getting worth. At this fees the college provides all the facilities a engineering college needs.
Campus life is close to zero. Their is no open space in campus. No ground is available to play. Their is one ground but it's not fully own by the college. Half of the ground is own by the college only.
Infrastructure of the colleges top-notch. Compare to the feel of the college the infrastructre is very good. There are three hostels of the college which are outside the campus and only one of them has very luxurious infrastructure but is also expensive the rest are typically hostels.
You will find the teachers who are well versed in your course, and they will help you with anything. Also you need not to worry abut your exams. Faculty provide a question bank and study material also. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry and well structured.
Overall 60-70% of a students get placed in our college with of an average package of 4-5 LPA. The lowest package is 3LPA and the highest package is 17-18LPA. The college has tie ups with many national and international companies where the undergraduate and postgraduate students are placed.
The first time time is is the the first day day and and I I am am not not sure sure if if you have have to to be be there there to to go go get get some some thing thing for for me and then then you you know
The only only way way I I could could get get to to get get a a ride ride home home and and I I was just wondering what what you you want want me me to to go go get get some thing for for dinner or or whatever
The only only way way I I could could get do that is would be be a a little little bit of a a lot lot more more expensive but but it’s it’s just just so a little little more more expensive I I mean like
College was good with facilities and infrastructure too as it was old building with average facilities to us. College having library , sport facility to play cricket, football and basketball. Many things like hostel, seminar hall were under construction.
I am highly motivated and thankful to all the faculty members who support me , help me and guiding me for better future. All the teachers are really too good they makes us ready for the jobs and helps us in all aspects.
College placement was just an average and there was also not particular cell made for it. As many visits, workshops , extracurricular activities to develop skills were organized but for the context of placement it need improvement.
Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET) offers commendable infrastructure, among the best in the region. The campus features well-equipped classrooms and laboratories with advanced technological tools like AC, smart boards, digital boards. The institute also has its own massive, beautiful auditorium often used by nearby colleges and schools. Also, there are well equipped Seminar halls, Learning Resource Centre with a digital library, Company centers such as TATA and INTEL service labs, clean living spaces in hostels. the entire campus, including the canteen is kept in excellent condition. It is indeed a conducive learning environment.
I am 4th-Year Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Student at Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET). The education quality is excellent, with a focus on both core electronics and IT Software/Coding for overall development and better placements. As an autonomous college, TCET keeps its curriculum up-to-date, reviewed every six months by the Board of Syllabus Committee, which I am a student representative of. The experienced faculties and the blend of software and hardware subjects offered by E&TC dept ensures that we are job ready and well prepared for the competition outside.
The placement scenario at TCET, is steadily improving as compared to various institutes. Many tech giants and MNCs visit for recruitment, with HR conducting sessions to prepare students. The T&P cell is highly recognized of TCET. The highest salary package from my Department-E&TC is 19 LPA, and the highest in the institute is 40 LPA. The average salary package is around 4 LPA. The placement process is smooth with various opportunities and support. Training starts in the 3rs-Year, with additional Industry Practice sessions and Employability Skills Development Workshops.
Each course at TCET, costs around 1.50+ Lakhs per year, with additional optional charges for hostels and student development committee memberships. While the infrastructure and placement opportunities are commendable, the placement in hardware sector for E&TC is lacking. The course fee is high, but various scholarships such as EBC, TSDW, OBC and other government schemes are available.
TCET, Mumbai offers a vibrant campus life with numerous extra & Co-curricular activities such as seminars, webinars, Talks, workshops, conferences, cultural and technical festivals, industry and alumni programs, sports, hackathons, and competitions. Students have access to professional bodies, technical clubs, community service clubs, and MUNs, enhancing overall development. The location is convenient and safe with nearby banks, markets, police stations, clinics and low transportation costs. The campus is well-equipped to handle emergencies due to visiting doctors and sick rooms within campus and with nearby police stations.
The college infrastructure is the best and has amazing aura for the students . Students who comes for engineering to this college is worth beause they will get a wonderful environment for studing well
College has its own portion in the Mumbai University as it is serving as an autonomous college. The college has amazing portion and many things they teach are very much valuable and it is worth for students.
College has a good placements for the IT Sector. The students from IT and Comp branch has a very good opportunity from this college to get a very good placements because many IT companies are coming in this college
Yess college has scholarship schemes for the one's who are not able to afford . For the students who are under Backward classes they have a scholarship scheme and they can also be part of this college.
Campus Life is very amazing and motivating for the students who lives in the college campus because it has a good architecture and environment of the college is very much good for the students for studying.
Thank you
My college has almost all the facilities, equipment and necessary infrastructure. Classrooms have working AC , projectors , white boards . Laboratories have all the necessary equipments , library also have decent collection of books . Hostel facilities are also available.
I am currently pursuing BE in Electronics and telecommunications department. Most teachers of our department has great experience ( more than 10 years). Even in core branches they conduct development programs to make everyone job ready.
Placement have been decent in past years but last year it was 50 to 60 percent due to market situation. The average salary was bet 5 to 8 lakhs. They are providing internship opportunities also. Decent umbers of companies coming for on campus placement so you have to develop skills to get placed.
BE courses costs around 1.5 lakh per year for general category.
Overall the experience was good. It is in Kandivali east , so transportation is also easy.
