The admissions are done under the government quota (50%), management quota (35%) and NRI quota (15%).
Candidates applying through the government quota need to have a valid score in KEAM ( Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination). Those candidates who are applying under the management quota need to have valid scores in KEAM/JEE Mains.

Academics
Our faculty are really nice and helpful. They encourage us to go beyond our curriculum and do more projects. These definitely help us to get into the highly competitive tech industries. Our new improved syllabus is also more focused on skill improvement and is more projects oriented.
College Infra
Our college have great infrastructure from computer labs to well functioning library. We have a pretty great integration of nature in our campus. This is a breath of fresh air in the midst of the stressful life of an engineering student. We also have separate hostels for men and women and also have canteen, department stores etc
Campus Life
One of the main reason I chose this college was because of the strong alumni and connections. Apart from studies our college also have art and culturals like mudra and advay and we also have sports programs for students who have talent in sports. I chose this course because I knew It was something I truly enjoyed and I knew choosing this college was going to help me be more efficient.
Placements
Our college have a pretty good placement percentage and these vary for different departments. We have a placement cell which organise placement training from the semester 1 helping students to gain experience and skills. And I believe this is one the reason for the pretty placement in our college. Companies like infosys, cognizant etc all visit our campus to recruit talents
Value For Money
I took admission through merit so it cost me around 75k per year. I believe this course is a value for my money because this was something I was really fond of from my school life and choosing toc h have made it easier for me to access more resources and also meet people with similar interests.

The faculty members are knowledgeable, experienced, and really care about student learning. Most professors explain concepts in a way that is easy to understand, even for students who find certain subjects difficult. They are always willing to help outside of class hours, whether it’s clearing doubts, guiding with projects, or reviewing assignments.Group projects and mini-projects are part of many subjects, and they help us learn teamwork, problem-solving, and practical implementation. Teachers guide us step by step, which makes project work more meaningful and rewarding.
College Infra
TIST has very good infrastructure with well-built academic blocks, clean classrooms, and well-equipped laboratories. The college also has a decent library with a variety of books and digital resources that help with studies and projects. Smart boards and projectors are used in many classrooms, making learning easier.
