UCST has 13 B.Tech courses with 297 seats. Admissions to B.Tech courses are made on the merit of national level entrance tests. The institute provides 19 M.Tech programmes with 321 seats. M. Tech programmes are mostly conducted on the basis of GATE scores with few programmes also carrying a written test and/or interview as a second screening process. The M.
