Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Institute of Technology, Rayagada provides its students with facilities in order to create a good learning environment for them. UGMIT Rayagada Facilities include various laboratories for the purpose of practical learning, such as a CAD lab, a transportation lab and a survey lab. There is also a library on the UGMIT Rayagada campus for students to broaden their horizons with a wide range of study materials. The UGMIT Rayagada library is also subscribed to over 20 journals for the benefit of students. The UGMIT campus also contains student accommodation in the form of 3 boys hostels and a girls hostel.

The College Library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources (print and electronic) in the forms of CDROMs, DVD-ROM, online databases, micro-documents, video cassettes, books, journals, theses, reports, etc. The library has a valuable collection of about 9445 volumes of both text and reference books. About 20 numbers of journals/ Magazines are being subscribed. The E-Library cum Riding Room of UGMIT is well furnished, equipped with 20 No of Computer with internet connection.

The college has a boy's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The College has got three numbers of hostels for boys having a capacity of 200, 70, and 30 within the campus.

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. fifty-seated ladies hostel is available and located in the college colony.

- Training and Placement Cell
The College Placement Cell is being monitored by Dr. Pradeep Kumar Tripathy, Officer-in-Charge of Training & Placement, and Smt. Saritarani Mishra, Assistant OIC, Training & Placement, is supported by four faculty coordinators in the Training & Placement Committee. Each Department has a faculty coordinator/advisor to coordinate between the Department and the Training & Placement Cell. A student committee nominated by the Head of Departments has been formulated to coordinate the various activities running under the Training & Placement Cell.
