If you get a rank around 13000-14000, you can get CSE in chennai campus under category 1.

If you are getting or able to get Computer Science, which is a Group B branch in VIT then it is fine or Information Technology too, Otherwise is is just as a typical Private Engineering Institute.

I have personally seen various students getting into an IT Company after graduating in EEE or Mech.

10 to 15 students gets placed in Core Companies like Schnider or Siemens while rest follow the bandwagon.

The 2016 cutoff for CSE was 33,000

Phase 1:Closing rank 1-2000

Phase 2:2001-99999

The expected 2020 cutoff is around 29000.

It's a best college in Tamil Nadu. Vit Vellore campus are 25yrs old it is main branch.

Placements: The placement of this college is not so good in MBA as compared to others.

You will get average salary package. Also the fees is quite low compared to premium MBA colleges.

It is good and well known for engineering but for MBA it is not that good.
