As far as I have heard, VIT Vellore mostly goes upto 450-500 rank, then VIT Chennai starts. So, you have less chances to get any seat in vellore capmus, but you can seat in VIT Chennai campus.

Average Package at VIT Vellore for EEE varies from 3-7 lakhs depending on how good you are.Placement record is somewhat good only. There are a lot of companies coming to recruit students in electrical branch and overall also.The placement record of VIT has been really good

 They had 160 seats in VELLORE Campus, 60 seats in Chennai and 210 in Bhopal Campus.

I came to knew that even after students with ranks 800’s, they had vacant seats in Bhopal CAMPUS.(around 150 seats where there)

They closed their admission for VELLORE CAMPUS after rank
