Vijay Rural Engineering College (VREC), Nizamabad, is an AICTE-approved institute affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Generally, the admission cycle of VREC goes hand in hand with the academic season, beginning around August-September. While the dates are subject to change with each passing year, students should begin preparing for the related entrance examinations months in advance. Applications are usually invited for admission to Vijay Rural Engineering College after the announcement of the examination results, usually in May-June. The degree in which the programmes are awarded includes Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The intake for each programme ranges from 30-60.
The college offers an MBA programme with an intake of 60 seats. The Vijay Rural Engineering College admissions are based on TSICET. Candidates qualifying in TSICET will be accepted for admission into the MBA programme in VREC.
VREC conducts diploma courses in various engineering disciplines with a total intake of 300 seats. Diploma programmes offered are Diploma in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The intake for each programme is 60. Vijay Rural Engineering College admissions will be under the TS POLYCET.
