Hi. The minimum percentage required for admission in VIT for general category is 70%. And for SC/ST candidates is 60%.
Although sometimes when the seats are not filled, they give admission to people with lower percentages. You must apply for it.

last year the round1 cutoff was around 1300

Hi, Urmila,

The diploma is a different route to getting into the engineering college.

After completing 10th class instead of Intermediate if you choose Diploma you can able to go through diploma route.

Diploma students will be getting knowledge of Engineering before joining Engineering.

Diploma candidates will be skipping the 1st year of Engineering and directly enter into B.E/B. Tech 2year it is beneficial for them.

Now a days jobs are mostly for Diploma candidates.

Best of luck.

You should try atleast
If the luck will be on your side then you would fetch it
Thanks!
Regards
