what is the current placement scenario for civil branch in BITS Hyderabad?

The placement in BITS hyderabad from Civil branch is almost good with an average package of 4.5 to 5.5 lakh. You can't consider it as a 99% percentage of placement but yaah overall it will be better if your CGPA as well academics are good. Since in civil branch only less core companies will come at the time of placement. Most of the civil graduates will be hired by IT Tech Giants like TCS / Infosys / CTS etc.

Bits is one of the top most ranked private engineering college across the country in every aspect. Inorder to get into it your score should be higher than the cuttoff marks which is almost 300+ inorder to take admission in any of the UG Courses in BITS premises . So , by considering your marks you have very less chances to get into it.

I got 304 marks in bitsat 2018 and 7300 rank in jee adv .What should I opt? IIT or BITS?

Dear Student,
I would like to say that its completely your choice to choose BITS OR IIT. You have to see as to which INSTITUE you have always wanted to go. I would suggest you that if you are getting your wanted branch in a good IIT then go for that else go for BITS. I further suggest you to go for the counselling of both. At least reserve the seat and then decide finally.

Sir, Scored 347 in BITS last year, Applied for Civil Engg in Hyderabad Campus, not selected in any round, any reason?

Hi Gaurav.

I think you're asking this doubt, because you have higher marks than cutoff, and still didn't get selected.

What I have to say is that, having a mark higher than cutoff doesn't say anything about getting a seat in a college. It just shows the usual trend. It only says, you have a chance. What happened in your case is that, lot of students with higher marks than yours chose Civil. As they have higher marks, they get a higher prefernce. And, they got selected.

So, what I'm saying is that, cutoff is a data for getting an idea. Every year, it can change due to lots of reasons. For eg., CSE at IITB has the highest cutoff in JEE Adv. That is because, students in top 100 prefer that. If those top 100 students don't choose CSE at IITB, the cutoff will be lowered. I think you get the point.

I have got 255 marks in BITSAT 2018,can I get Msc Biological science at Bits Hyderabad?If yes,then till what iteration I can expect to wait?

YES.
Going by last year Cutoff's, you will get M.Sc BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES at PILANI, GOA and HYDERABAD CAMPUS as well.
But you may need to wait till 3rd ITERATION to get best of it.

Since all those listed colleges are one among the top ranked private engineering college across the country. It depends on you on what factor you are comparing among all these. If you compare on the basis of NIRF ranking then ;
BITS > IMS > SYMBIOSIS > AMITY and i think ranking shows all those internal factors like placement / study wise as well quality of the individual institution. So better go with the ranking.

college infrastructure of Birla institute of technology is vey good as you can see the name Birla as per my experience they are maintain their brand as well as it possible to support their brand they have high smart classes and high smart security to much expensive but very good college .

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the MBA students at BITS Pilani is well-organized and up-to-date. Classrooms are spacious, with projectors and audio-visual systems installed, enhancing lectures. The campus Wi-Fi is satisfactory, though speed reduces slightly in times of high usage. Seminar halls, case study rooms, and group discussion rooms are available for management students.

Overall my experience so far has been nice.

Nice infrastructure, AC class rooms, clean washrooms, well-maintained campus, pretty flowers everywher, pretty pretty snake path and last but not the least, how can I forget our iconic clock tower haha!!
