Answering your question, obtaining that rank in JEE mains is really an appreciable job done,indeed and in order to get admission into one good college, you should first apply for JOSA counselling rounds where in there'll be a lot of opportunites for the aspirant to take admission into one of the NITs or IIITs or maybe you never know IITs as well. And if the aspirant gets a college of heer own choice of interest in this counselling round but with a different compromising stream then please look for another good private universitites like Jaypee, Thapar, etc.

Yes, of course, you can use your improvements mark-sheet for BITs Pilani because you have given improvement exam and it will be treated as your original mark sheet.

In many ways a dual degree of maths + computer science is better than a BE in computer science..

The mathematics exposure can help in coding and if anything it has a positive effect on placements..especially with regards to placements in blue chip companies like google, core mathematics knowledge is helpful...

This year the best placements ( 1.2 crore ) went to Math + Cs students..Math degree can also help you if you wish to pursue higher studies..


The negative is that you have to be in college for an extra year but the extra knowledge ( which is relavant and useful ) means this maybe a blessing in disguise..

That said BE in hyderabad is not bad either..And if you take admission in maths in pilani getting CS is no guarantee..It will be decided on the basis of your academic performance in first year..But getting CS as a dual is not tough too....

this is to inform you that you might get a seat in the hyderabad campus under any biotech field .seats in top engineering branches is just a fantasy in this istitution.i suggest you to better go with your local collegges than less preffered subject at BITS.all the best for your future.
