The tution fee for the course is rs 178000 per semester and extra 62300 for summer term (if you register). The admission charges is around 40000 that is need to be paid once. The hostel and mess charges figure around 23000per semester with extra 10000 to be paid in advance that is adjustable.

Dear candidate, BITS Pilani, Pilani campus does not offer Electronics and Communication branch of engineering. This branch is offered by BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses. The branches offered in BITS Pilani, Pilani campus are:

• Chemical Engineering

• Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering

When it comes to scholarships offered by BITS, there is no specific form to apply for and it will on the basis of your marks scored in the exam or in qualifying exam.

Students who have obtained 95% or above in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination are given a merit scholarship of 40% of first semester tuition fee.

Students who have obtained 90% or above but less than 95% in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination are given a merit scholarship of 25% of the first semester tuition fee

Students who have obtained 80% or above but less than 90% in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination are given a merit scholarship of 15% of the first semester tuition fee.

I would suggest Mtech at Bits Hyderabad would be a great choice as IIT Jammu is still in developing stage.

Below is the admission criteria for BITS:

For all programs except B pharma. - Candidates from state or central boards with PCM and should also have English proficiency

For B pharma programs admission- Candidates from state or central board with PCB and should also have proficiency in English.

Additional eligibility criteria.

• A minimum of 75 percent aggregate in PCM ( if you opt for mathematics in the BITSAT exam)
• A minimum of 75% aggregate in PCB - if opted for biology in BITSAT exam.
• 60 percent each in maths/biology, chemistry, physics.

Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani (BITS, Pilani) offers admission based on it's entrance exam BITSAT. Once a candidate gets selected, he has to pay for the institute in order to continue pursing the course. As per the BITS Pilani fees structure, candidates will have to pay Rs 39,800 as admission fee and Rs 1,78,000 for Semester 1 and 2.
