Hello,
BIT mesra has good reviews around 4/5 by different students of that college.
Regarding the placement part, First thing which is needed is skills in students. College can bring MNCs but students must be capable to get selected. They need the hot or trending topics like blockchain,Artificial Intelligence,Data Science, Cloud Computing and many more to be in expertise level in students skills.
These are really as no students does that still some do and they get good placement at companies like Microsoft ,Google and many more fortune500 companies.
So you have to prepare well and be good at the topic where you are highly interested. This will make you most eligible for the post rather than any other candidate who is appearing for the same post.
Regarding details about the placement you can get in the link below:- https://www.bitmesra.ac.in/Show_Other_Department?cid=1&deptid=183
You can visit to the right hand side column where you can get the list and no. of students who got selected. Placement is good and up to performance. To think for your self you have to make and learn skills to expertise level to get a job at top MNCs.
Hope it helps!
Dear Rahul, you mentioned that you are a Hotel Management Graduate but haven't mentioned your aggregate in Bachelor's degree. If you belong to General Category or OBC, you should secure a minimum aggregate of 55% and it is 50% for SC,ST,PWD Categories. Now for being eligible for M.Sc Statistics, you should have studied Statistics atleast for 2 years in your Bachelor's degree. Now PGPMWE is a Post Graduation course and that is not considered while evaluating your eligiblity criterIa. So unfortunately, even if you scored the aggregate required against your Category, if you haven't studied Statistics in your Bachelor's degree, you are not eligible for JAM 2020.

hi!
Vit has got a huge batch strength, and according to my friends who are there, the campus life is a bit suffocating. Thapar have reservation for Punjab students and jharkhand students respectively, which also means the students won't be of equivalent merit.
VIT has 1000+students in the CSE branch. Thapar is also a top notch university.

Outstanding college The campus is well-maintained with decent classrooms, a library, sports facilities, and Wi-Fi. Hostel facilities are average, but improvements in food and hygiene could enhance the experience.
The infrastructure of the college is very good every faculty member here is very much ready to help us out they have a very friendly nature and easy to access them. Almost everyone here is very crispy the college staff also is very helpful polite good nature
The university offers a friendly environment for study. Classrooms are digitalized. The library has approximately more thank 10,000 books, e-books, and IEEE subscriptions for us which helped me in my research work. The auditorium is highly equipped and I was handed my M.Tech degree there.
