I'm sorry to inform you but your CRL rank is not enough to fetch you BIT Mesra. To get into BIT MESRA you should have a CRL rank under 30,000 for general category.

As you have mentioned that your BITS category rank is 4209 and as an outside residential candidate there are high chances for you to get a seat in BIT Mesra in branch like electronics, civil and so on.
You might get a core branch like computer science and information technology in lower rounds. So I will advice you have patience and wait for your turn.

You won't get BIT mesra for such rank and percentile .You need more than 96%ile to get it.
You haven't scored enough to get NITs/IIITs and GFTIs .So you can try for state engineering colleges.

No, you are not allowed to wear any thing that contains metal whether it be a slipper or a shirt with metal buttons. You can only wear simple slippers or sandel. Any kind of metal substance are strictly prohibited.

The infrastructure here is quite impressive. The classrooms are well-equipped, and while the labs have the basic tools you need. You'll find air-conditioned classrooms.The hostels are generally considered spacious and well-maintained, with daily cleaning, and each has its own dining hall. They also have night canteens, which is convenient. The college has a good library, fast Wi-Fi all over the campus, a medical center, and sports facilities. However, a few folks have suggested the cafeteria could use a facelift and that some washrooms might need better hygiene.

College Infrastructure
Classroom are equipped with whiteboard. The labs are adequately maintained. The library has a good collection of books. Our college has well maintained canteen providing quality food. The hostel in our college is decent.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of the course and hostels are average. Labs are fully functional and provide all the basic equipment but sometimes they do not work. Hostels are the minus point I think as there are no air-conditioners in the room. The mess food is not worth it.
