 bit mesra has both undergraduate courses and post graduate courses,in under graduate courses it has 4 years btech programme, bsc+msc dual degree, bhmct courses, bpharma.

to get btech admission jee main score is consider in bit mesra. for b. pharma courses neet score is neede.

BITS,Pilani and BIT,Mesra are two different colleges.To get admission into colleges like Bits Pilani,Bits Goa,Bits hyderabad you have to clear BITSAT.To get admission into Bit,Mesra you have clear jee mains.Bit,Mesra is funded by government and does not take admission on the basis of BITSAT marks.Hope you can find the

Based of previous cutoff criteria a score of between 250-300 is required to easily get into bit in a good course . Based on your son's score he might have a chance if cutoff of this year would be around 220.
