If you want to have a great learning experience and pratical knowledge then JMI should be your choice. But if you want to have the experience of great infrastructure, modern labs amd classroom, cafetria etc then BIT MESRA is your choice.

I have got AIR 52322 (OBC Category) in Jee Mains 2019. Can I get admission in any NIT or BIT meshra in Cse branch?

Hi Ananya, hope you are doing well, with your rank of 52322 rank in jee mains you can not get into any NIT or BIT meshra in any of the branch especially in cse, you need to score more to get into those institutes even though you are of OBC

The cut of bit mesra is too high compared to your score.BIT Mesra is well known GFTIs and its standard is something like NITs.

You need to have a rank within 60 k in jee mains to get a stream there.

Different streams have different cut off.

Yes, according to last year's trend, the cut off for Computer Science and Engineering (top course) for BIT, Mesra was 11, 618 (closing rank) and 4732 (opening rank). This is for general category, which you belong to.

Since you have secured 59.9 percentile in Jee main. If you are lying under general and OBC-ncl category then you are not qualified because qualification cutoff for general and OBC-ncl category is 89.75 and 74.31 percentile.

College Infrastructure

BIT Mesra features a massive, green 780-acre campus. The main building and central library are well-equipped. It has lots of books. However, the hostel infrastructure is quite old. Many rooms require urgent renovation and better maintenance. Campus Wi-Fi connectivity is not that reliable . While some labs have modern apparatus, others use outdated equipment. The sports facilities are decent, but mess food is unpredictable.

Lush green campus ,great labs, solid core placements.

College Infrastructure

Our campus has great infrastructure. The ECE and core engineering labs are well-eqipped with modern development tools and hardware set up.the classroomm are spacious and fully air-conditioned, and the campus Wi-Fi is consistency fast and dependable. The library has an excellent technical collection

College Infrastructure

The college has most of the essential infrastructure required for academics and studies life. Classroom are adequately equipped, laboratories have the necessary equipment for practical learning. Hostel and sports facilities are satisfactory and meet basic student needs.
