Are there no seats for other state students in COEP.?

In order to take admission in COEP, Pune you should
have domicile certificate of Maharashtra.

Other state students are eligible to apply for private
engineering colleges of Maharashtra.

How much marks in MHCET and Jee mains is need to get admission in machanical branch in COEP for a general category student

Dear Ashutosh,

COEP, Pune takes admission through MHT CET only.

In order to apply for this college you should have domicile certificate of Maharashtra.

According, to previous year cut off you should score 175 marks in MHT CET to get Mechanical branch in COEP Pune in general category.

I don't apply JEE but I want to adm

the admission criteria state that for admission in the college of engineering Pune one can apply either through jee main or through MH CET. hence you do have other option to apply through MH CET which is easier in comparison to jee main.

Can An Andhra Pradesh student appear MHT CET? if he secured good rank in this exam ,can he eligible to admit in College of Engineering pune?

Hello Narayan! Yes, definitely. You can appear for MHT CET even after being a non maharashtrian from open category and if you score well you will definitely get admission to that college. Hope that helps.

how many marks required for mechanical engineering in COEP ..for ST category

Hi Chetan,

First of all,i want to inform you that: From 2016 onwards,students have to give MH-CET to get admission in COEP.
Below is the cutoff rank for mechanical engineering in different rounds of 2017:

Round1:8519(122)
Round2:9519(119)
Round 3:9566(119)
Round 4:14920(107)

So,according to previous year statistics,you need to score nearly

Without giving MHCET exam than can we get Admission at Coep? And for out of Maharashtra state students how much the admission fees?

Admission in College of Engineering Pune is completely based on MHCET and JEE Main rank . You can't take admission without clearing MHCET or JEE Main. For Non-Maharastra Candidates, they must have good rank in JEE Main.
Tuition Fees for B.tech is approx 84,000 INR.
Hostel fees - 25,000 INR.

No, You have to apply separately to get admission in DTU Delhi, Jadavpur University or COE Pune. Jadavpur University take admission only thru West Bengal Engineering entrance test i.e. WBJET. For COEP you must have Qualified in Maharastra CET. You can take admission in DTU on basis of JEE Mains
