According, to Careers 360 both the colleges have AAAA+ ratings which means outstanding. Both the colleges provides good placements.

VIT Vellore is a private college and COEP is a government college. You should prefer COEP college over VIT Vellore.

You are not eligible to get admission there as COEP does not consider Jee main because the admissions are truly based on MHTCET and to get admission in top branches like CS, ME etc more than 170 marks are required. So you can apply for private colleges of Maharashtra as domicile is not required for the same. Apart from that, you can write BITSAT, VIT, SRM, Manipal etc as per your interest and potential.

COEP Pune takes admission through MHT CET and Jadavpur University takes admission through WBJEE.

The cutoff depends upon the caste category as well as the branch you are interested to take admission in.

Assuming that you are asking for general category, for CSE you need the rank within 540
for  other good branches aim scoring a rank within 1300 to get other decent branches like EE, IT etc.

According to their report in the last session 158 companies visited. Highest package which was offered was 33.80 LPA average package was 6.5 LPA and minimum package which was offered was 2.50 LPA.

A high std college

College Infrastructure

Ancient buildings with best modern touches is a most famous building in college Overall 36 acres campus, River view and 7 8 department buildings, 2 canteens and 2 auditoriums, 1 sbi bank and atm is also inside.

It is a good experience

The labs and their corresponding equipment are of the highest quality and majority of the faculty are experienced professionals. Classrooms are mediocre in terms of design and comfort as is the WiFi network. Libraries and sports facilities are good. Canteen is clean and hygienic however the Boat Club canteen could do with some work.
