In the Era of this much competition level, it is impossible to get good College without Scoring good in GATE Exam. Every Good engineering college take admission only on basis of GATE Score.
Few engineering college conducts their own entrance exam.
But don't lose hope, you can take

How much score needed in diploma in order to take admission in coep for CSE?

You will have to appear for MHTCET to get admission in College of Engineering, Pune. The eligibility criteria for MHTCET is as follows

Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and secured a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks (for General category) and at least 45

if i score negative in jee mains but cleared the cut off of coep in mhtcet will i get admission in coep?

yes, if you clear the cut off of respective college, you will surely get admission in that college.

but it is next to impossible that cut off would be in negative score for coep.
