Hello Narayan! Yes, definitely. You can appear for MHT CET even after being a non maharashtrian from open category and if you score well you will definitely get admission to that college. Hope that helps.

how many marks required for mechanical engineering in COEP ..for ST category

Hi Chetan,

First of all,i want to inform you that: From 2016 onwards,students have to give MH-CET to get admission in COEP.
Below is the cutoff rank for mechanical engineering in different rounds of 2017:
  • Round1:8519(122)
  • Round2:9519(119)
  • Round 3:9566(119)
  • Round 4:14920(107)

So,according to previous year statistics,you need to score nearly 110 to 130 marks.

Without giving MHCET exam than can we get Admission at Coep? And for out of Maharashtra state students how much the admission fees?

Admission in College of Engineering Pune is completely based on MHCET and JEE Main rank . You can't take admission without clearing MHCET or JEE Main. For Non-Maharastra Candidates, they must have good rank in JEE Main.
Tuition Fees for B.tech is approx 84,000 INR.
Hostel fees - 25,000 INR.

Whether application forms to be submitted for ug b tech course of DTU, JADAVPUR, COEP or can got admission direct fro jee mains cut off?

No, You have to apply separately to get admission in DTU Delhi, Jadavpur University or COE Pune. Jadavpur University take admission only thru West Bengal Engineering entrance test i.e. WBJET. For COEP you must have Qualified in Maharastra CET. You can take admission in DTU on basis of JEE Mains rank through Joint Admission Counselling (JAC Delhi 2017) .

Hello, I am from Nepal. How can I get admission in COEP. And I have done IELTS exam and sat ii exam as requirement for this university.

First, are we talking of College of Engineering Pune? If yes, it is not a university. And the admissions there are through direct counselling. Click here for the details. It is last year's notification but you will know   the details . In case you have further queries, pls write back to us and yes you dont need IELTS or SAT for this.

How much minimum marks needed in mains and cbse board 12.

It all depends upon your caste category and cutoff of that year. If you are from general category then its around 100-105 marks needed to clear cut off.

According, to last year MHT CET cut off for round 3 you need to score more then 170 marks in your exam to get IT branch in COEP in general category.

Ancient buildings with best modern touches is a most famous building in college Overall 36 acres campus, River view and 7 8 department buildings, 2 canteens and 2 auditoriums, 1 sbi bank and atm is also inside.

College Infrastructure

The labs and their corresponding equipment are of the highest quality and majority of the faculty are experienced professionals. Classrooms are mediocre in terms of design and comfort as is the WiFi network. Libraries and sports facilities are good. Canteen is clean and hygienic however the Boat Club canteen could do with some work.
