Last yr cut-off for general category was 89 percentile for general category. So,honestly I will tell you to score more than that in second attempt.Next, those who scored 95 percentile were around 60000 general rank. Now you can do your maths to improve yourself for the upcoming term.Just try to score really good in jee mains ‘cuz many state government engineering colleges are offering their seats through jee mains score. Also, solve some previous year question paper at end if you have filled some other form other than jee mains.

Hope for the best.

Thank you.

Hi Sakshi,

COEP takes admission in lateral entry on the basis of merit and the merit is decided on the basis of no. of students applying and no. of seats available.

The official website of COEP is (coep.org.in).

Although there is less data available on the cutoff for BE metallurgy from official sources but the previous year cut-off merit in other branch like civil engg was 97-99%.

Thankyou.

hi...

If you are an other state student, then you cannot apply for lateral entry in college of engineering pune. Because for lateral entry the seat are totally reserved for maharashtra candidates. But if you apply for 4 year graduate degree then 15% of the quota would be reserved for other states candidates.

But for lateral entry only the maharastra students are given seat. So, you better look up for some other college for lateral entry.

Hi,

Hope you are doing great. Rank predictor shows that your rank is between 51150-57500. In that case, yes, you will get chance in electronics, VJTI but 97 percentile is needed to secure an admission in COEP.
