Hi Sakshi,
COEP takes admission in lateral entry on the basis of merit and the merit is decided on the basis of no. of students applying and no. of seats available.
The official website of COEP is (coep.org.in).
Although there is less data available on the cutoff for BE metallurgy from official sources but the previous year cut-off merit in other branch like civil engg was 97-99%.
Thankyou.
hi...
If you are an other state student, then you cannot apply for lateral entry in college of engineering pune. Because for lateral entry the seat are totally reserved for maharashtra candidates. But if you apply for 4 year graduate degree then 15% of the quota would be reserved for other states candidates.
But for lateral entry only the maharastra students are given seat. So, you better look up for some other college for lateral entry.
Hi,
Hope you are doing great. Rank predictor shows that your rank is between 51150-57500. In that case, yes, you will get chance in electronics, VJTI but 97 percentile is needed to secure an admission in COEP.

Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
In college, there is a reservation for seats for ex-servicemen, with one-third of the seats reserved for them and the other two-thirds reserved for foreign and PIO students.
The MHCET score is accepted for admission to the College of Engineering in Pune.
When it comes to MHCET, the cutoff for the general category for COEP is 168 for the home state quota, and if you qualify for the ex-reserve, servicemen's you have a good chance of getting in.
It does not have a distinct cutoff point.

Hope that you got the answer to your question. Feel free to comment back incase of any doubts. All the Best!
