Hello,
The both colleges which you have mentioned that is COEP and VJTI are top colleges in the state of Maharashtra and due to which the level of this colleges are quite and hence they required a very high marks in there particular entrance exams so that you become eligible for admission. Now talking about the exams first i would like to say you that COEP only accepts the MHTCET exams and not any other exam even not JEE 100% seats are given on the basis of MHTCET exam. But in VJTI 10 to 15% seats are given on the basis of JEE scores this gives you a basic idea that if you want to secure admission in any of this college than surely your rank should be just unbelievable so that atleast you can try for this college.
Thank you..
Dear Aspirant, generally competition for COEP is high , the cutoffs are high.
In CET getting a score near 175-180 +(99.6-99.7 percentile) would help securing seat in COEP.(this may or may not be accurate due to changing trends every year).
Also JEE score needs to be high as JEE score will considered in ALL India counselling percentile near 96.8-97 + would help.
