Placements : There are few placements available, but the college provides good training for attending interviews off-campus. They should try for more placement options for the students. They train the students well, but due to few options of placements, it becomes difficult. The availability of placements is not that good, and no big companies are seen.

Infrastructure : The infrastructure of the college is average. It has the latest means of communication, but it is for limited classrooms. The infrastructure has become a little old, and it is not that big or vast. It is not updating, and it should be maintained well. There is less space, and the infrastructure needs to be updated.

Faculty : There are different faculty members available for different courses. The faculty are good for each and every course. There are many course curriculums and options available for the students. The faculty are good, and there is coordination between all the faculty members.

Other : Events are conducted continuously, and they are not that big events.

It is good for ENTC. Faculty members are good and supportive.For Entc department, the highest package was 17 LPA which was from DE SHAW. The lowest salary is 4 LPA approximately. The average salary is 6.5 LPA approximately. In 2015-16, entc campus placement was 94.8 % (out of 77, 73 were placed through campus interview). Companies that visits COEP, ENCT are EPSON FiNlQ, Texas, and other IT companies like WIPRO lmt., Infosys, Honeywell.

COEP is a reputed institute in India and is one of the best in the country and doing engineering from there will be certainly helpful. However, if you are asking for a particular branch, then the choice of the branch should be made on your interest. If you are interested in a particular subject, then it will be wonderful 4 years of your life, however, if you chose a branch you do not like, then it will be a very bad experience.

So I suggest, you should research a bit about the electrical and then made your choice

if you are not already inclined towards it.
