The admissions in NIT are based on rank you get in JEE exams. You may get lower branch in few NIT including your state NIT. You may possibly get IIEST in lower branch. For this, you need to check your rank by using the rank predictor tool:- JEE

JEE Advanced marks are considered only for the admissions in IITs/IISc/IISERs etc. It has nothing to do with the colleges which are taking from mains.

If you have enough rank or percentile in JEE mains you can surely opt for IIEST or any NITs.
