Having scored a rank of 18000 in obc ncl it can be a bit tough for you to get into top universities as it is a bit low.  Since you have not specified which course you intend to get into. The chances of you getting into IIIT Vadodara is a bit less since the courses of CSE and IT are very much in demand and it is a very good university. But in general, being in the OBC category, your chances are much more. But however, due to the increasing competition it would be advisable to apply to other universities as well . The courses in demand ask for higher ranks and hence it would be a bit tough for top ranked courses like Computer Science Engineering or IT.

Also, for students coming under home state quota have lower cutoffs rank than that of other state. Your category and percentile rank is also another such factor.

The each year cutoff of IIIT Vadodara depends on various factors like no. of students appeared each year, exam difficulty level, seat availability at the IIIT , etc. But , for students having IIIT Vadodara comes under your home state quota, then the CSE branch each yarr cutoff rank varies from 11000 to 12000.  But it is also difficult to get admission into CSE branch if seat availability is less.

Admission to IIIT is offered on the basis of JEE main rank therefore you have to appear for JEE main and securing good rank to get admission in IIIT Vadodara the first JEE main that is JEE main January got over and now you can apply for JEE main April those who appeared for both the exam the best of the two score will be considered for the rank calculation

You can reach the Institute by Air as nearest airport is roughly 30 mins drive from the Institute. You can also reach via rail.

IIIT Vadodra is a private institute established recently. Students get internships in companies like Google and amazon.  The placement session 2018 at IIIT Vadodra has concluded with 65.8% placements.  IIIT Vadodra states that the highest package claimed was of 12.64 lakh per annum. Soroco India made the highest offer while Servify, Apptus, TCS, Atos, Capillary Tech, L&T InfoTech visted the campus for recruitments.
