 MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR UG COURSES IN IIST.

Only Indian citizens are eligible to take admission in UG courses offered at IIST. Candidates meet IIST admission eligibility criteria if they have secured minimum 75% aggregate marks in their Class 12 Board exams or equivalent examination. SC/ST/PwD category students can apply if they have secured at least 65% aggregate marks in the qualifyinge exam.

so , if you have the above eligibility then you can get a seat.

No jee advanced preparatory course rank is separate for preparatory course for SC , ST and Pwd candidates so it won't help u to get into IIST

Hiii dear, if you want admission in IIST then jee advance rank is not important for you because IIST admission is based on the jee-main ranks.

definitly ,you should must clear jee advance to get admission in IIST thiruvananthapuram. it is compulsory.

Hello Sateesh, please be informed that from 2017, IIST is conducting counselling based on JEE(A) marks, and the rank lists are prepared on the basis of how many people attend the physical counselling, so cutoffs vary a lot every year, you can surely try but its not guaranteed that you'll get a seat. I'd suggest you trying for NITs and IIITs as your JEE(M) rank is good enough to get into them.
