Both the institutes are good. Both have outstanding ratings. If you have any branch preference then you can choose accordingly otherwise you can go for IIT BHU as it has better placements.

I want to know about the selection procedure for gate candidates in biomed at iit bhu.

IIT Bhubaneshwar does not offer M.Tech in biomedical so you cannot consider it for the same. To know more about IIT BHU, you can go through the below article -

iit bhu counselling process for mtech

You will have to apply for the same separately as the application forms are available from 13th April till
May 1, 2017.

Which is better for placement m.tech in material science from iit Mumbai or m.tech chemical engineering from iit bhu?my stream was CH .HELP

As per my view, better to do CH as the placement chances are wider in comparison to other branch you have mentioned above. But you should consider your interest and capability also before choosing the same.

The infra is I would say average only not too good and not too bad …it need to work on its infra they really need to work on that otherwise people would stop taking IIT BHU …most of the nits have better infra

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of this IIT needs to be improved as far as other IITS are concerned. We will find decent hostels situated on campus. It also has its own mess, which provides decent food. Classrooms are also well-equipped with modern facilities. Here, the library has very limited capacity so it needs to be expanded.
