The cutoff for IIT Kanpur  has not been released yet,but you can have look on previous year cutoff trends. IIT Delhi will release the gate cutoff along with the results on March 16.

Every year there is a slight difference in the cut-off marks. The cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks which you need to score in order to get admission in M.Tech courses in the institute. Previous year cut-off trends also play a vital role in deciding the current year cutoff.

The cutoff in the final round for Statistics at IIT Kanpur in 2019 (General category) was 57.

As you would know, this only gives an estimated idea as to what the closing Rank could be in the successive years. The actual closing Rank would depend on the difficulty of the exam and appeared candidates.

Based on these stats, I would say that you may have a chance to get a seat in IIT Kanpur. However, it can only be said for sure by appearing in the counseling.

IIT Kanpur provides 4 year undergraduate degree courses in B.Tech (CS, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Civil, Material Sciences, Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, chemical) and BS (Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Economics, Mathematics and Scienctific Computing, Physics). There is no other UG program they provide.

With 82.92 percentile in CAT and as you have mentioned your academics and it is more than average and also your work experience will be beneficial for you,there are some chances that you will get call from these colleges.It all depends on the sectional cut off in all 3 sections of CAT.

In India there are total 8 semester and 4 years to pursue degree in bachelors in technology in any of the branch or any college. It may be any private institute or IIT or gfti.

see as per last year cutoff for iit kanpur and iit roorkee you have less chances, however cutoff score changes every year and depends on various factors like number of participants, question difficulty level etc,

you may apply for ims dhanbad, Department of Management Studies (DMS).

No, you cannot.For admission in IIT kanpur in MBA, a candidate must appear for the CAT examination and should have  valid CAT percentile of 85 and above.

To get calls from top three IIMs which are IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta and FMS Delhi, you need to score above 99 percentile.

Yes, both academic profile and work experiences are a part of the shortlisting criteria but, you need to maintain a minimum of required CAT percentile for expecting calls from these colleges, as these are the top four B-schools in India.
