Hello Aspirant,
Yes, you can get electrical at IIT Kanpur. Also possible are CS and ME at IIT Kanpur. You can also try for admissions at IIT Bombay for electrical, electronics, mechanical and civil.

According to previous years cutoff of GATE ( for metallurgy ), the IITs with their required cutoff are listed below :

1. IIT Kharagpur - In 2017 the cutoff was 432 and in 2016 the cutoff was 628

The fee structure of most of the IITs is same, the fee of IIT Kanpur aerospace engineering for all the four years is around 2 lakhs per annum, the total fee for 4 years summing to 8.5 lakhs.

The fee structure of IIT kanpur is as follows
For first year fee is Rs.63,000
And for the second year rs.54,000
Total is around 1,19,000

Considering you to be a general candidate , Sorry to say but there are very few or no chances of getting a good branch in IIT Kanpur with this score .But there are chances of other branches , you can check the previous year cutoffs for all the branches by

College Infrastructure

Talking about the colleges infrastructure, it includes all the basics, clean water supply, spacious Science labs, an auditorium for cultural events, and a playground for sports, there is also a well-stocked library and tidy classrooms. Students can take advantage of transportation and on-campus housing if they do not have their own rides, the mess is kept clean, and while the food is pretty good, I think adding more choices that students like would be a bonus. also for sholar there is separate study centre that good point for thesis making

Management is not good.

College Infrastructure

There are well-furnished labs, classrooms and a library, and there is a free Wi-Fi connection in the college. The food provided by the mess is decent and in addition, the campus has various other refreshment outlets like Coffee Day Express.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure here at IIT Kanpur is really good and well maintained. The basic facilities like library, classrooms, lecture halls are high tech and really advanced. Even the new hostels are really cool and good.
