Can i change from BS Chemistry to BTech Chemical Engg. after 1st Year in IIT Kanpur ??

BS and BTech are two different courses. I guess there won't be option of change of courses in any institute. One can only change branch not the course.
Even if I'm wrong then you have to work very hard in first year of your college. You have to maintain cgpa

what is the scope of m.sc in physics from IIT kanpur

MSc in Physics from IIT give you a different kind of exposure but scope is not wide for M.Sc in Chemistry. there are only few companies which opens for MSc students during placements at IIT. But as far as off-campus opportunities are concerned, you will find reasonable number of openings

Cut-off for General catagory to get minimim marks for getting IIT Kanpur (Mechanical branch)

JEE Advanced maximum are not defined :

Maximum Marks vary every year like below:

2016- 372
2015 - 504
2014 - 360

So, it is difficult to predict marks as exam pattern and marks change every year but you should score more than 50% marks to get good branch in

College Infrastructure

Talking about the colleges infrastructure, it includes all the basics, clean water supply, spacious Science labs, an auditorium for cultural events, and a playground for sports, there is also a well-stocked library and tidy classrooms. Students can take advantage of transportation and on-campus housing if they do not have their own rides, the mess is kept clean, and while the food is pretty good, I think adding more choices that students like would be a bonus. also for sholar there is separate study centre that good point for thesis making

Management is not good.

College Infrastructure

There are well-furnished labs, classrooms and a library, and there is a free Wi-Fi connection in the college. The food provided by the mess is decent and in addition, the campus has various other refreshment outlets like Coffee Day Express.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure here at IIT Kanpur is really good and well maintained. The basic facilities like library, classrooms, lecture halls are high tech and really advanced. Even the new hostels are really cool and good.
