    MSc in Physics from IIT give you a different kind of exposure but scope is not wide for M.Sc in Chemistry.  there are only few companies which opens for MSc students during placements at IIT. But as far as off-campus opportunities are concerned, you will find reasonable number of openings in government organizations.
