Inorder to apply in IIT'S  you need to appear in counselling which is conducted by JOSAA inorder to intake the students for IIT'S and NIT'S. If you have a good score in JEE Advance then surely you will able to take IIT M and IIT Delhi .

Using the kinematic formula we get

As the force of gravity is acts against the direction of vertical component of initial velocity so it is considered as  deceleration.
Substituting various values we get

Acceleration due to the gravity on the Earth is taken as g=9.81ms2 and acceleration due to gravity on the surface of the Moon is given as =1.625ms2

From the derived expression for maximum height we notice that for the same initial velocity and the same angle of projection we get

Thus the Maximum Height attained in space will be greater than on the surface

For that you need to give exam of JEE Advance. For JEE Advance you need to clear JEE Mains and have atleast 75% or among top 20 percentile of your respective board. You must secure a rank within top 5000 in JEE Advanced to get a good branch in IIT Madras.
