Course Overview

The course allows the applicants to apply the knowledge of thermodynamics that they will learn in theory combustion. In the Fundamentals of Combustion by Swayam emphasis will be given to the basics of- stoichiometry, fuels, equilibrium, chemical kinetics, and mass transfer, and the different types of the combustion process that are there.

In the  Fundamentals of Combustion certification course, the students will be explained the various mathematics processes that are involved in transport processes of a reactive flow, simplifications, and the parameters that affect different types of combustion processes in the real world. The twelve weeks programme will enable the students to grow skills in the genre of- Gas jets and combustion of gaseous fuel jets, governing equations for a reacting flow, flames-Ignition-flame stabilization, droplet evaporation, and combustion.

The programme will thus help the students to develop more skills in the field of thermodynamics and its applied field.

Certification Qualification Details

Participants who are interested to get the  Fundamentals of Combustion certification are required to apply for an exam. They need to appear for this exam and clear it with a minimum of 75% final examination. They should score a 25% average in 8 out of 12 assignments. Thereafter, they will get the certificate in the Fundamentals of Combustion online course.
