hello raunak,

if you want to get admission in DAIICT then you have to appear in GUJCET exam.

there is two round of counseling occur, the cut off near to 26 marks.

Selection Criteria: Admission to B.Tech programmes for all India category seats at DAIICT will be based on All India Rank (AIR) obtained by candidates in JEE Main 2018. 50% of the total seats at the institute are to be filled by all India category candidates.

The remaining 50% seats will be filled through GUJCET, by candidates belonging to the state of Gujarat who have passed a qualifying examination from a school located there.

hope it's helpful for you.Good Luck.

Greetings!

Undoubtedly , Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) , Mumbai is one of the best colleges in India to opt for Btech in Chemical Engineering .

Hello Preanjali,

According to the data of MHCET-2017

After round 6 (Round held at institute level):

Chemical engineering: 173 marks

Dyestuffs Technology: 145 marks

Pharmaceutical sciences and Technology: 150 marks

Surface Coating Technology : 145 marks

Food Engineering and Technology: 158 marks

Polymer Engineering and Technology: 163 marks

Fibers and Textiles Processing Technology: 132 marks

Oils Oleochemicals and surfactants Technology: 148 marks

However, the cut off is subject to change evry year. So a fluctuation of + or - 10% should be always kept in mind.

Hope this helps you!

All the best!

Last year the cutoff for mht cet for ict in chemical engineering was 173 marks so there are probably less chances of getting into chemical engineering however at 150 marks you can get admission into dyestuffs technology, surface coating technology as well as oils oleochemicals and surfactants technology

Hi

Jee mains cutoff varies a lot

But it is relatively easy to get in ICT through mains

Previous time it went like (2017)

Chemicql engineering : 160+

B .tech courses : 110+ ( some got at 105 ,considering the lower jee results this year )

And which course u get in unpredictable .in the same field it varies from 130 to 110 .

On a general level , consider (what u should aim )

Chemical engineering : 180+

B.tech courses : 120+

Good Luck!!!!

Thank-you!!!!

If you want admission through mains then you must have your score above 240 & if you want to get admitted via mhcet then you must score above 150 for the same in OBC category.
